The Christmas Toy Appeal Roll of Honour: Thank you for making a difference
Almost three thousand children will wake up to some Christmas gifts tomorrow – thanks to the joy provided by a remarkable campaign in the community.
The Newham Christmas Toy Appeal met its target for the 43rd year running.
And Ambition, Aspire, Achieve and the Newham Recorder would like to thank those who helped spread the joy.
We were sleighed by your kindness.

Toy Collections came from: Forest School Snaresbrook E17; Bywaters;

Appeal organiser Kevin Jenkins said: “We also want to thank all the individuals who have donated cash or gifts via our online giving and gift sites or sent in donations or dropped gifts off to AAA – over the past six weeks.
“And all the volunteers who have ensured that the gifts donated have been checked, sanitised, sorted and distributed to the children.!
Kevin added: “We also thank everyone for making a difference enabling each child referred to the Christmas Toy Appeal this year to wake up on Christmas Morning to a stocking of gifts and a real Christmas Day in this the most difficult of all years.”
