Join us for the Royal Docks History Club’s Facebook Live Talk Show

 

Tune in for the Royal Docks History Club’s first Facebook Live Show on to discover more on the History of the The Royal Docks.

You will be able to comment with your own questions and ask guests or the host what you want.

The event is on Thursday June 25 between 6.30 and 8pm.

Special guest speakers include:

Peter Stone, author, The Port of London,

Melissa Ford, of  Newham History Society, who will share personal experiences on Royal Docks Haunted Places

Colin Grainger, journalist and former Editor of the Newham Recorder, and Forgotten Stories, Royal Docks Stories websites author, who will be talking about growing up in the North Woolwich and Silvertown, the Royal Docks and more.

Graham David Hill, author, The Silvertown Explosion.

Journalist Marieta Evans will be hosting the show.

It’s all part of the Newham Heritage Month celebrations, which as you will have seen on this page and our social media channels, is online for a month, between June 1 and 30.

The event will be live on the @NewhamHeritageMonth Facebook page where you will be able to participate with comments and send questions. We will also stream live on the Newham Heritage Month Website on the night.
