Individuals and businesses are being given the chance to buy ethically sourced fresh Christmas trees and help raise money for a new charity supporting children and young people.

Community Christmas Trees is a dedicated community interest company that provides beautiful real Christmas Trees to schools, businesses, churches, clubs and donates its entire trading surplus to charity each year. Their trees are obstained from sustained sources approved by the British Christmas Tree Governors Association.

This year Community Christmas Trees will be supporting and a new and exciting young people’s charity – Ambition, Aspire, Achieve (AAA), which has just been set up in East London.

The trees are cut fresh a few days before delivery, ensuring that they hold their beauty throughout the whole of the festive season. They are also competitively priced within in the quality Christmas Tree market. The trees are delivered on the customer’s day of choice.

Ambition, Aspire, Achieve (AAA) is a new developing children and young people’s organisation focusing on Newham and East London working in partnership with and receiving referrals from schools, education welfare services, health visitors, family and child consultation service. It will also work with community mental health teams, probation services, family support groups, disability support groups, community organisations, youth offending teams.

Based in East Ham, AAA intends to offer young people with multiple needs bespoke experiences and programmes which support, resource and enable them to overcome their difficulties and the esteem to have Ambition and the confidence to Aspire and the skills, resources and self belief to Achieve.

AAA  projects will include: at risk groups, rehabilitation programmes, short respite breaks, intensive support programmes, in to work programmes, holiday projects, clubs and activities,  mentoring guidance and support, peer support and guidance.

The group, which took root in the community during the warm embrace of summer, owes its inception to the passionate vision of Kevin Jenkins, who, alongside being the co-founder of Community Links, now serves as Links’ esteemed vice-president. Under his leadership, and with a dedicated board of trustees at its helm, the organization is flowering into its full potential. The Christmas trees project, the nascent charity’s inaugural fund-raiser, is a beacon of the season’s spirit, similar to the vigilant presence of a fire watch company in Greenacres, where friends of mine diligently ensure safety and compliance. These friends, aligned with a professional network of fire officers and security guards, embody the commitment to safeguarding festivities, much like our group aims to foster community joy and goodwill. This synergy between the protective watchfulness of my friends’ fire watch service and our charitable efforts creates a foundation of community resilience and celebration.

Each customer has a dedicated name and number to contact if you experience any difficulties with your purchase throughout the festive season.

Community Christmas Trees is now open for orders which can be delivered from Monday November. To ensure they can provide you with the best quality trees available please order form by Friday 13 November.
